small groups

Here at CityGates Church we believe being a part of a small group is a great way to help us live out the biblical call to be a part of the body of Christ. The Christian life is not meant to be lived in isolation, but to be shared as a community, a family. Small groups play a really important role in providing somewhere we can share the joys and sorrows of life, pray and be prayed for, and encourage one another as we study the bible together.
Our big aim is that we are helping one another grow towards maturity in Christ (Colossians 1:28).
 
Groups generally meet in homes once a fortnight across the city on either a Wednesday or Thursday evening, but we do have some groups that meet during the daytime and are more specifically for mums or seniors.
 
We also recognise that regular fortnightly small groups might not work for everyone, and perhaps a one to one bible reading partnership or bible reading triplet might be more suitable.
